Then place the striped feather on your marks and cut your splice pieces.

Choose you feather you want to splice. Measure the distance you want your splice to be and mark it at the back of your feather on your tape.

After you have done that I use an exato knife to cut out where my splice feather goes. I lay my blade flat and cut very slow and careful.

After the tape is applied I make sure I line up where my splice feather is to be placed.

After I get it all lined up I pull of the backing of the tape and apply my fletch. This one is the cock feather.

Then attach the other feathers and you have a fletched arrow. This is the first time I have tried to do a how to. Hope you understand all this. Hope it will help someone out. Sorry if I posted it all wrong or in the wrong place.

Nice looking feather, Great job, very nice tutorial. You make it look so easy, I've done a few also, didn't turn out as nice as yours the first time , but like any thing else it takes a little time and practice.
