Relaxin after vacation
« on: July 22, 2013, 11:00:51 am »
Got home from a 10 day trip down south and had to hit the pit to help me slow down and relax. Started off by busting up quite a bit of small stuff till my brain and hands started workin together. After stallin the notches on the side notch, I picked up this piece of triple flow and got a nice dove out of it.

Love the swirls in this obsidian!

I think I see the profile of a chief.
Florida to Kwajalein to Turkey and back in Florida again.  Good to be home but man was that an adventure!

Wow! Good catch, Tim! It's so obvious after you mentioned it.

Here's another out of the same hunk.

I think I see the profile of a chief.

Obviously the Chief of a clan of Gros Ventres (Big Bellies).

That obsidian piece is a wonderous work of art.  Knapped stone as stained glass!
