Looking for a Mad River or Dagger Legend canoe
« on: July 21, 2013, 01:30:17 am »
This is stretch, but what the hey.  I looking for a Mad River Legend or a Dagger Legend canoe. I have a 12 ft. flat bottom aluminum fishing boat, with trailer and trolling motor.  I might even throw in a Gamefisher 10 hp motors.  Of, course this isn't a trade we could easily send UPS.  So we have to be close enough to one another to make the drive.  I live in Richmond, KY just south of Lexington.

Thanks Tracy.

I had a Dagger Legend years ago and loved it.  I traded it for a whitewater canoe.  After doing a little more research, I would take an Mad River Explore, also.  It basically the same boat at the Legend except for the bottom.  The Legend has a shallow arc, while the Explorer has a shallow V bottom.  Meaning the Legend would be a little more responsive in whitewater and the Explore would be faster on still water.
