...do you remember seeing my bows at Dave's and the classic? With overlays you can go real narrow...most my lever bows are at least 3/4 wide at the end of the fade,and a half inch wide(I use digital caliper)6" from the nocks,and anywhere from .250"-290" wide at the string groove...even with flat bow style tips you can still make the tips as narrow as I do at the string groove ...which will also force you to narrow the last ~8" to make a smooth transition,and where you really want to remove dead material there...you really dont need a lot out there where it doesn't bend much,even in a normal style bow
