As the title says....a molly curve made from a red oak board....boy am I gonna get an earful for posting a bent piece of house trim  ::) ...its 67" ntn...57@27"...24 ounces mass weight...osage tip overlays(just had to put some real wood on it)...stitched black leather grip....its smooth as silk to draw, and totally rips a hardcore arrow...not to toot my own horn but I have never shot such a fast board bow before, and ive seen and shot lots of them by lots of other folks and myself included...it fricken hammers...im impressed, and I don't say that often...and I hate to say it and admit it,but I fell in love with a board  :-*  :-[  :-[  :-[  :-[  :-[ this bows been done for over a month...and I was gonna send this as a trade bow,but I just couldn't send a friggin board and ruin my reputation...oh wait..too late

thanks for looking  :)

Beautiful work as always Blackhawk. With the size of those tip I am not suprised it's fast, those things are much more narrow than I have ever dared...

That's a sweet looking piece of lumber! Nice work. It goes to show that a good stain and finish can make a board look sharp.

Mighty sweet, Chris. Uhh, I thought boards came from trees, too!?! ???

Sounds and looks like a great bow. Is it how I am looking at it, or are those levers bending some?

Since you are a board bow guy now why don't you make me a deal on your stave stash  ;D

Seriously though, that is about the nicest "bored" bow I have ever seen.  Those tips are crazy thin.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Looks so much better as a bow than it would have as door casing. You did the right thing by getting that wood out of the house. Smooth looking bow Chris, I like that baby.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
