Got some mulberry

Help a friend clear out a fence row today and kept the bigger logs.
Some good some not so good. But I'll see how it plays out.

Nice score! Looks like some pretty clean stuff. I have lots of mulberry staves stored in my stash but ive never gotten around to making a bow out of it yet.

That looks like a good haul. I have quite a few mulberry on my property and cut a nice size one last Spring that only yielded 4 good staves and 2 sets of billets. Yours look straighter than what I ended up with although the tree i fell looked promising.

I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.
