I finally got something I have wanted for quite a while: A Ketoh! A Ketoh is basically a Dine' (Navajo) armguard that, over time, evolved to have a decorated silver plate with turquoise on it. They're worn as adornment now. They're expensive since the silver on it is pretty hefty. But I met a cat who made one with copper and turquoise and that was exactly what I was looking for. It has a single piece of Kingman turquoise on it and the copper plate is beaten and antiqued. Very subdued color. It's 4-1/2" long, black leather, with buckskin lacing to tie it on. I love it. I wear it every day and where I work, I can wear it there, too. I tried to post pics, but my pics won't post for some reason.
Anyway, if you're looking for primitive/traditional archery related jewelry, look into a Ketoh. Once you start wearing one, you'll start wearing it all the time.
