I have a buddy who makes cigar box ukes he also sells kits to cigar box ukes. Mainland ukes. Pretty cool Bubby! dp

Beautiful work! It's funny that, just like wood bows, once you see one you immediately formulate a plan to make one yourself haha.

One thing you could do on you next one that I have wanted to try is just fret the cowboy cords.  The fist five.  Everything else bare.  If you needed held figuring spacing just give me a shout.  I miss luthiery sometimes.

I like it. I've made one before too, i don't even know how to play guitar but it seemed like a fun project...it was.

I've collected all the parts to make one but still aint started yet... My honey got me a chrome bedpan(yes un-used Jdub) :o..tryin to figure out a good resonater for it, maybe a pie tin??

koan go on youtube and do a search if you want to build a cone I think you want it more rounded thru the bottom, for $15 you can get a nice pickup at c b gitty online, find an old amp at a yard sale and your set, bed pan guitar sounds pretty bad a$$ to me ;)

Unfortunately i didn't get to smoke them JW :(

Mine is fretted with inlayed finish nails. I've been meaning to make a nice antler bridge instead of the piece of dowel that is there now, i better get on it.
