Owl?

Found this in my yard the other day. Any ideas? My guess is owl.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Yep, from the look of that "fuzzy" edge I'd say owl too.  Might want to post a picture of it on the ground and not in your hand, though.   :)
Any critter tastes good with enough butter on it.

I know Patrick, stupid laws! I stuck it in the side of a tree in the yard. It was either that or the dog eats it.

This is a flight feather of a hawk owl,so it rules out that species.If you have never seen one maybe google it ,their really grumpy looking things !lol!

Looks to me like it came off of a barred owl.  I've seen feathers just like that around where I live and I mostly see barred owls.
Florida to Kwajalein to Turkey and back in Florida again.  Good to be home but man was that an adventure!

You could chop it down a bit and tie it to the tip of a bow as a wind indicator.
