Always a bridesmaid never a bride.  :laugh:  It is a beautiful bow I can't blame you for wanting to hang on tightly to that one, it is definitely a "you can have it when you pry my cold dead fingers from around it" bow.

This makes me more optimistic with my snakey little turd of a stave. 52" ain't much to work with. I just finished chasing the grain. It'sy first bow and I'm sure it will break. But I gotta try. And the two short osage bows posted recently leaves me hopeful. Mine has an S shape. When laying it out should I just take the taper off one side to sort of straighten it? I'm at a loss ATM. Very nice bow. I really like the shorties. But my 30" draw says otherwise :0(
