You did that man's osage justice.  Hope the good Lord let him see it all finished up.  I've never knew osage could get that dark.

That looks like it came right off of Chet Stevenson's wall!  I am in love!!  Amazing find, and you did it justice.

That bow is beautifull! I just picked up a 50#, real old hickory backed osage at the Flea Market Sunday.

Great job HickoryBill. Thats a special bow there and you crafted it into exactly what those old billets should be. I think if I ever had the
opportunity to shoot that bow it would feel like shooting a piece of history. Kinda sorry that posse didn't ride out fast enough, I could of
joined up and had that opportunity then. :laugh:

I'll be bringing this one to the Classic next year...Anyone with a 27" or shorter draw can shoot er!
