Recurve Bow
« on: June 06, 2013, 04:02:00 pm »
Was wondering if anyone knew anything about this bow. From what I know it was made by a bowyer in I believe Southern Illinois and is 2 years old and was his second to last bow he made before quitting due to age. I was also told that he also made a few bows for Ben Pearson back in the day. Just curious if anyone knows anything about them and could shed a little light on it for me.

Archery is seeing how far you can get from your target, Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get to your target.

No clue. From the look of the mat glass I'd say it is from 1968 -71. I have a couple from that time period with that knd of glass.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
