CMB, don't you remember that little sapling D-bow that I made at this camp, with paracord string, using only pocket knives, that I took home and put a real string on and shot for awhile, then threw in the firewood pile for several months of rain, then pulled out to show you how it still bends nicely? It was easy to know when you were at full draw for this bow because it would start to crack; that's when you released. That thing took zero set. Capish?
Well just think what a 3" wide, 80" version will do. It might take two men to pull it to full draw but it should shoot an arrow about half a mile.
