sinew wrap question

Made my second self bow out of iron wood (HH).  It has a small crack issue on one of the limbs.  I took the bow to Marshall and asked  the experts about the limb , Chris, Chris, Matt and Marty and it was concluded that I need to wrap the bad spot with sinew.  Do I wrap the bow BEFORE I put a finish on it or AFTER the finish is applied?

and what glue should I use?

I always wrap before ,then seal over to water proff.

When I do wraps I do them in the middle of finishing. In other words if I was using a Tru-Oil finish I would do a few coats of finish, wait for it to cure, add the wraps and then proceed with the final finish coats. That way (for what its worth if anything at all) I am sure the bow is fully sealed and finished under warps.

  Fill it with glue for get it. Shoot it like it is untill it's finished. Then build another bow. Personal I can't stand to see a warp thats not surpose to be there.
  I never fix %$#@ up's it makes it all right to mess up. Learn from your misstakes.Even if it is your faught. If it's not it sounds like a drying crack if it's not a run off or get it.
