I was thinking that I could use some traditional-archer type of bling to wear around my neck, and came up with this.  I cut some lace from a kangaroo hide that I bought a couple years ago, and then stole a cow bone from the dogs to carve out something kinda broadhead-ish looking.  I had to round the corners a bit so that I don't wake up with a hole in my jugular.

Anyway, here it is.  Thanks for looking :)

Man you have skills Cam. That looks very cool. Ive been thinking the same thing. I need a little something to show my love of archery. I dont do truck window stickers.

Thanks guys.  It's just a 4 strand round braid.  Very easy to do, just takes some time.  One thing that I found helps a lot is to grease the strands while braiding (I used Crisco, but I've read that lard should be used).  It helps all of the strands stay at the right tension and makes it a little easier on the fingers.

Nice job on that, Cam. I'm not a jewelry guy, but could see myself wearing that.

Well someone talked me into parting with the last one I made, so I had to have another go at it.  The  antler pendant on this one turned out a little larger than it probably should have been, but other than that I was pretty happy with it.

Lovely work! And great job on hiding the ends. Don't know if that was intentional or just perfect-angle pictures, but still really great pieces!

Cam:  I like the second one even better than the first.  Maybe its the brownish color of the braid.  Nice stuff!
