Four Corners Archery Club have teamed up with Barks Plantation in Glen Allen, Missouri (Southeast Missouri), to present the 3rd Annual All Traditional Shoot Showdown and Rendezvous on July 11, 12 & 13, 2008. Test your skills on our 40 target (2- 20 target courses) with shots like: the charging bear, the swimming alligator, stalk the pig, the flying turkey, rope walk shot, marble drop shot, the hanging monkeys, and more! 40 target competition will be on Saturday. There are 8 classes offered: Mens & Womens: recurve, longbow and selfbow; youth (12-17) and cub (up to 11). Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class. Top five scores in each class will go on to the shootoff on Sunday morning for a recurve hunting bow. Try our 20 target coon shoot on Saturday night. Top score gets 50% of coon shoot fees. Showdown on Sunday afternoon. Last man "alive" wins an Osage Orange selfbow. 40 Target competition fee is $15.00 which includes the shootoff (cubs shoot free). Coon shoot fee is $10.00 and Showdown fee is $5.00. Registration begins at 7am Saturday and closes at 3pm. Scorecards must be turned in by 730pm. Coon shoot begins at dark. Shootoff on Sunday morning begins at 7am until ?. Showdown begins at 1pm Sunday afternoon until ?. Novelty shoots Sat. & Sun. Find, shoot and bring in the hidden rabbits and win a prize.
