Seems like that was my Dad's and I suppose that he used it for heavy chopping (meat and fish I reckon.)
I feel like I can use it as a multipurpose tool- knife, woodworking implement...
At this point it definitely needs some TLC. The blade needs to be cleaned up and I'll probably
replace the scales with something like osage.
Truth is that the image I had in my head when I remembered that old knife was that it was shaped like
a meat cleaver- perhaps that's what it is...
