Hello,
Here are three bows I was working on during this last semester. The first and shortest one is a 60 inch 34lb at 24in ladies bow of shag bark hickory. The second one is a 66 in 47lb at 27inch locust self bow. The last is a snake skin backed shagbark hickory bow that is 55 lbs at 27inches. The ladies bow has 1/2 of set, the snakeskin bow has 3/4 in of set despite being strung for up to 4 hours at a time in wet rainy weather for turkey hunting and the locust took 1.5 inches of set. The locust bow I really abused during the tiller process just to see what would happen. It shoot plenty fast despite doing some tillering on it before it was completely dry. The handles are jute wrapped and have leather rests on them. The antler nocks are from a deer I killed here in pa and the ladies bow is a mulie shed I found in New Mexico on an elk hunt.
Full draw picts will be up tomorrow,
Thanks for looking,
Greg
