I've started working on my first vine maple - it's beautiful wood.  I think I'm going to have to go with that brown leather dye.  It's beautiful on that wood for a finish!

Good God that's a nice bow. Looks very functional. I like what you've been doing with the snake skins lately too, it fits perfect with this bow.

Actually John, I spliced two billets together. I don't think I have ever seen a clean VM stave that long  ;D
