Nice haul,
I just made an arrow out of Scotchbroom, I only cut a couple sample shoots and after making that arrow. I will be looking closer at this weed.

That is a nice SB haul Muffin! I find some here and there that size, but never that much in a single spot. And that big one....that is a prize. If you reduce it, seal the snot out of it!

Oh ill put several coats on it. Do you think i should seal the ENTIRE thing or just the back of the stave and the ends?

well, lets put it this way. You cant stop moisture escape completely. so that said, if i seal it real good it will loose moisture in 2 months rather than one, or something like that. But are you said it would be fine just to seal the back and ends?

Seal the back and ends and you should be fine if any cracks begin to develop on the belly just put a line of wood glue over it
