Anyone here ever put skins on a fg bow? If so what glue works the best?

Bill, Ted K. of the Mercer Bowbenders put a pair on a widow
, They looked real good. Not sure of the glue he used

i've used woodweld contact cement with good results on both fg and selfbows

I'd use tb3 bill. Same as a selfbow

Oh yeah.. I believe Gary Davis uses Elmers white glue on selfbows..Wonder if that would work....?

I use TB3 also,just rough it up a little with fine sand paper before you glue it down,works great.

I've seen Gary use Elmer's White on FG bows. No problems that I've ever heard of.
