Outbackbob, I've made lots of them by stripping them. It is easy to do with turkey feathers, but I've ruined some other types of feathers with this method. They do not hold up nearly as we'll when they are stripped, but it sure is a quick way to do them. I still strip them often, but usually split and sand for my best shafts.
