Osage Molly Self Bow

I've been working on this on and off for about 6 months, had a bit of a hiatus in there for a while. She's not done yet, but I wanted some critique on the tiller. I know the bottom limb is a bit stiff, I've got about a 1/4" positive tiller, gonna even it out. IT shoot very sweet and smooth atm though.

Like the looks of it. Got any close ups? Stats on the bow? How far does it shoot a 10gpp arrow?
Smooth lines, I bet it doesn't have much hand shock and seems to shoot fast

59 ttt, about 57.5 ntn. Pulling right around 50 @ 27. The limbs are about 60/40 working to static. She has just a slight shock, which I think is due to the bottom limb being stiff. Draws super smooth though and very accurate. That shot in the video is about 12-15 yards. My first self bow(aside from a hickory board bow).

I'm gonna tweak the bottom limb a slight bit tomorrow and then I'll post some more pictures. Braced, unbraced, full draw, etc.

She's mostly done, just needs a leather wrap, aesthetics, etc. Ended up at about 48# @ 27". Shoots very smooth and accurately. Any critique is welcome. Thanks, guys.

Really nice! Can you give us a picture of the front so we can get an idea of the layout? Thanks for sharing your work.

Looks really nice. I like how all edges are rounded and smooth. To me the tiller looks just a little stiff on lower limb but if it shoots with out hand shock I would just shoot it with out messing with tiller. I would like to make one of that style this winter. I bet its a quick shooter.

As the others said the bottom limb looks a bit stiff to me but otherswise very cool!
I really like the molly/recurve thing you got going there. Good looking bow.

You can probably get there with just a bit of sanding now. Nice bow!

Thanks, guys. Yea, I decided to just lightly rasp the outer half of the lower working limb, then sand it overall some. The top limb is about 1/4 higher brace than the lower. Gonna get it to around 1/8 and call it a day.
