need help with fleching

Hey guys were is a good place to start when it comes to fletching?  I am just not understanding how to cut the feathers, how to bind them how to keep them straight just want to know were some of you started

    You might watch Carson's (CMB) how-to video .  He just posted it yesterday on PA arrows.  Very helpful and a good start.
