Wow love that bow!!! That is exactly the kind of bow I want!
Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?

wow...its sure a beauty and a pretty good use for copperheads!
when i'm working on things my ancestors worked, singing the songs my ancestors sang, dancing the same dances, speaking the same language, only then  I feel connected to the land, THIS land, where my ancestors walked for thousands of years...

Soy, that is a beautiful bow.   I refrain from judging your tiller by those two pics.  I think cameras can help when the picture is taken with the lens equal distance to the tips and the plane of the lens perfectly parallel to the bow.  If not, camera angles can play tricks.  Snakey limbs make judging tiller from a canted angle even more difficult.  So based on those pics, cant say much about your tiller.  but based on those other photos, I can say that is one of the sexiest, snakiest looking snake bows I have ever seen.  8) 8)  Nice work.    And that handle inlay work...nice touch! 8)

No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

I was starting to wonder if you would ever finish this one!  I reckon it was worth the wait.  She sure is purty!  Those are the coolest copperheads I've ever seen.  The cocobolo sure compliments them nicely!  Well done!  Josh

Soy, I'm new to all this and not a Bowyer by any definition of the word. I gotta say this though, that is one of the best looking bows I have ever had the pleasure of looking at. I won't even begin to give tiller advice or judge it, but if that beauty shoots and does what a bow is supposed to do then I would have to call it good. No.... great is the word. I don't believe its recipient will have any complaints.

Excellent job turning some snakey Osage into an amazing bow! Somebody gonna be happy, happy, happy!!!
