first attempt with hackberry

hi All this is my first attempt with hackberry it is 60 and 1/2 inches long ntn Eastern woodlands style 58#at 28 inches draw


Is this bow making a sickness? or the cure...

the bottom in the full draw a pic looks a little stiff but it is because of the reflex Imho ;)

Is this bow making a sickness? or the cure...

thanks a lot guys I appreciate the kind words I have not formulated a solid opinion on hackberry quite yet I ruffed one out too thin ended up tying it in a knot and throwing it out...however this one here has me impressed so I would like to do at least one more 2 better judge, however that is the last piece that I have as the rest were destroyed by bugs so going to have to cut me some more ;)

you know soy, my honest opinion, even if it doesnt mean much, is that if the wood can make a functional weapon for the purpose of killing game what more do you want from it? Its a great wood if it has the stuff it takes to kill a deer or turkey or whatever. Nice bow though! simple and lethal.
