river cane

my cousin is going to the fort Myers area in Florida and i was wondering if anybody knows where he might be able to find some to bring me some back, if so what should i tell him to look for?

  River cane is not native to florida.There is some but you have to be lucky and find some that was introduced here.There is plenty of Bamboo though.
