Campfire cooks at the classic
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:01:59 pm »
For all of us who love to cook and eat different things while camping, how about those that would like to, get some pictures of what you cooked at the classic and maybe your receipts so we all can share some different dishes.  I will start a thread when we get back, so hopefully we will see a lot of pictures and good foods being made.

See there you go Old Coot.  Why do you think I am asking for receipts?  So I can learn to cook!  Do I have to spell every thing out for you son?  Oh, forgot, you can only read pictures :o   Cracker, put ole Roy on the list twice. >:D

Oh I know that Cracker can cook.  What vegetable was that he fried last year that everyone liked so well?

Yep you gotta get that caramelization going on.
If we can't help each other what is the point of being here?

Only trouble with your coffee Charlie, is ya gotta pop out your false teeth after a cup so ya can get all the grinds out of your mouth:)

Then again with you being from Virginny, ya might not have teeth.. LMAO

Hey Charlie my bro-in-law is coming down with me. He isnt much into bows, arrows, atlatls, buckskins, knapping or weaving. He is however, a chef with papers. The man can cook and he is most excited about meeting up with other camp cooks and talking campfire cookin'.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
