I don't get it... you have all this wood you're talking about, but you don't want to make any bows out of it? I don't understand your train of thought. Cherry is fine bow wood. So is maple. Fer Chrise sakes man... pick a piece of the wood you say you have and make a fargin' bow already!!!!

the maple i have 10 billits but theese are still seasoning. and there is no room its currently at a freinds house, hopefully it's still in the garage and not been moved outside  SS

Hey, I did not take that picture. The purpose was to see if de other squirrel realizes that yew is a conifer. The point is the reddish bark and the needles.

I kinda put bow-making on the back burner a lot, but I shoot each and every day.
For at least an hour.
I can hit a 12 inch target from 30 yards easy.
With a 55 pound bow, full draw @28.

I am used to getting confused with other people and taking carp over something stupid.
Lets just get on with life and forget.
Things happen. I mistook a poplar for a hickory once. I have also cut Arbore Vitae instead of ceder.
