Well I got me a press, and stainless steel pot and some coffee beans and I ground there at the store on course.  I should be set.  Thanks for all the advise.

LOL.....Thanks Ron.  Well I just sampled my first cup of french press coffee, and I might say not bad at all.  Got a little tweaking to do, but I think I have found the way I like to make coffee.  So I am going out and get me the highest rated caffeine coffee beans I can find, and head to the classic.  So if any one see's an old, run down, can hardly walk man climbing and bouncing off walls at the classic, it would be me. :o

If all else fail there is always cowboy coffee; pour grounds in boiling water and boil for a few minutes. turn off the heat and when the water settles pour a cup of cold water in. This will settle the grounds to the bottom so you can pour a clean cup off the top.

That is next on my list to learn to make right Pat.  I have had it made that way, but the one's that made it could stand a few lessons if you know what I mean.

Dad made 1000's of gallons that way when he was in the military for 23 years. The guys never complained!

That is the only way my kin from the mountains here would make coffee, and the coffee post stayed on the wood stove all day, just placed around to keep it warm, and the grounds never came out until the pot was empty and another pot put on.  Now you talking about something that would bow you legs???????????? >:D
