A few Cahokias and an Agee

I've been slowly workin through my stash of Kaolin lately. It's some really killer material but is mostly found in small cobbles. I think that's why the most common point type made from this stuff is Cahokias and the like.  ;) It knaps like butter when heated correctly and comes in a wide variety of colors as you can see. It feels good to knock out some tiny little points from time to time. I get hung up on making big points all the time and forget how challinging these thin little points can be. Here's a couple pics. Nice points that is some pretty stone where did you get it at those points look like there ready to put on some shafts & let fly.

Thanks TR, a friend of mine gave me a bucket of the stuff last year. He is a certified rock hoarder :) I'm trying to get him to come out to the classic with some of his rock, well see ::)

I like them all. Very colorfull points. I'm piling some coral for you and I'll be heat treating it as soon as I finally shoot a bird. Turkey season is starting to look like Deer season. :(

Heck yea!! Nice job on them little buggers! Like the different colors in that rock. That's one of the big things I like out of my rock is all the color variance.

Thanks for the replies y'all. I like em, gonna keep makin em till I go replenish my supplies here inns month or so. Eddie, I can't wait to get some of that coral! Lookin forward to seein you all at the classic :)
