i worked on this for a good bet wasted a lot of the peace it was big a nuff to make a blade out of.but just glad i did not brake it in half like i do most of the time. it turned out grate for my first one this size .

thanks guys  hope  to get batter at it so i try on every peace of glass i can get my hands on .so far that was the only one i dident  brake .its kinda thick in sum spots. but out of fear of braking it to i lifted it as is

Nice glass work. I break them in half and end up with invisible pain makers in my hands every time I try glass :-[

I suggest keeping your fingers along the edge only when pressure flaking.  I use to tend to have mine on top pf the point and they either broke or were too clunky.  But clunky isn't as bad as you think for hunting points, at least in my opinion, they are stronger than thinner points and can be just as sharp.

You got great control of the eadge. nice and straight.  Think on the pressure point and it opposite force spots to help you understand why it will snap. It took me a long long thime to get this. Support will make or break your work. Just wait till the notchings you'll try! All that work then blow off a ear. Also many of us break way more then we finish. So keep at it.

well out of the trys this one is the best one not a hunting size point  . it broke in half win it was almost  done .this one was made using. jackcrafty's method  then straitened it up sum with a small flaker
