Good looking bow Greg.

Nice looking Buckthorn, Greg.  I have a generously gifted stave in my shop just waiting for me to get at it.

Nice little bow there!
I like the warm color combination of handle and wood. This is a really pretty stick!

That's a sharp lookin piece of work there!  Soy's got some of that buckthorn for me to try.  I can't hardly wait to get my grubby fat fingers on it to try it out!  Once again, nice work!  Josh

Thanks you to everyone for all the nice comments on this bow. Still trying to get a 50#+ bow out of this buckthorn, the wood can
handle the weight and more as others have proven, I just keep messing around to long trying to even out tiller lately and end up
with underweight bows. :o  Been happening pretty regularly and not just with buckthorn lol. This little bow is fun to shoot though
and the wife and I took turns shooting it in yesterday. I put quite a few arrows through it and she was good for about nine arrows.
Shot good for her but she shoots so seldom that 30#'s wears her down fast. ;D
Again, thank you all for the nice comments.

To Pekane; this came from a 6"-8" dia. tree, this wood grows with so much character that it often is hard to find a couple usable
staves even from a tree of that size. I did manage to get two bows from that tree though.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
