Done! Buckthorn shorty Perry reflexed?(sorta)

Finally to the tillering stage. (accidentally deleted the pics) See pics at end.
I have never tillered a short sinewed bow with reflex so it is a bit different for me.
It is 49" NTN, 1.5" at fades and 1/2" at tips with osage overlays.
3 layers deer leg sinew with knox.
2.75" reflex.
What draw weight do you think I should reasonably be shooting for on this?

On the right limb the fade to midlimb needs to bend more. The left limb needs to bend more in general and the fade and outer 3rd need to bend more. That's just my observation. You could probably get 65# on this, idk tho, hard to tell from just pics. The reflex looks great!

Got her bending to 24" draw but ended up at only 35# instead of 45 
Man, I am always coming in light!
So I am gonna put a thick course of sinew not quite to the tips to try to gain a little weight and to try to regain a little reflex too.
Not sure on the tiller but will wait for now until after more sinew.

Be interested to see how the addition of sinew works out on that one, have some short staves of that myself and don't trust my
current skill level enough to make anything more than a kids bow that short. I know your frustration with coming in under weight, been there myself on my last few builds. You sure are getting some bend out of that bow. Keep us posted, I want to see how this one finishes up.

She is really a bending!  Looks like you have about maxed out to me.  Hopefully the added sinew gains you a few pounds.

I slapped on a nice thick crowning course of sinew fading thinner toward tips and have 7.5# weight hanging under it now.

I have never weighted a bow with sinew and not sure if there's a ratio or formula people uwe to know how much weight to use or just personal preferrence?

How long does it need to stay weighted before I can remove weight?

I have been trying to slow down so I don't take too much wood off but it is hard for me to judge weight and it seems very heavy until all of a sudden it isn't and I end up wondering what happened again 
Soon as there's more action I'll post some more pics.

I doubt it.
Sinew and any animal material softens when heated
Try keeping it concentrated just on the belly.. and it might work.

I am not to be trusted with a rasp  
I took this way to light and it gained reflex up to 6" from around 3" before I got happy with the rasp.  couldn't get the limbs to even up and never tillered anything with reflex before. I just about resigned to having another kids bow but it seemed wrong with this having sinew and then covered with buckthorn bark. Lots of work into it and lots of firsts for me so I decided not to give up yet. Been over my head thus far so why not keep goin right?

I sanded the belly flat, found some straight grained ERC and cut out a couple belly laminations, and glued em on with TB3. The lams had about 1" reflex and after glue up ended up with about 2.5" reflex with the lower limb having 1/2" pos tiller at this point. Actually got rid of some twist n the upper limb too 
I have been reading about Perry reflex and don't understand it much but  think that may be sorta what I just did?

If you are blowing past your target weight with the rasp, maybe you need to switch to scraper or sanding block earlier in the tillering process?
