Thanks, i like it alot, i still have to take off a couple pounds before i finish it though. I haven't been shooting it much because this storm blowing in is bringing in a bunch of wind and im already a bad enough shot without the wind haha

We're from northwest Ohio about halfway between Dayton and Toledo.

For arrow making we're hoping on finding reed, but I plan on collecting a bunch of sprouts anyway.
Any suggestions on the type of saplings to look out for?

We're larger guys so with our bows we'll probably be trying for 50#+ pull.

   You have HICKORY dos'nt matter what kind you get. A good first bow wood a good 100 th bow wood. You should also have ALTERNET WOOD WOODS. Heavy but not too,solid stays straight after straighting.
