Looking for lefty bow
« on: March 21, 2013, 04:59:28 pm »
Just like the title says, I'm on the hunt for a left handed bow.  I'm cool with recurves, longbows, or primitive bows as long as they have at least a medium wrist grip.  Or, perhaps some sort of tillered preform and let me shape the grip to my liking and finish.  I've got this knife by James Peterman available for trade.  It's 13" OAL with a 9" blade of 1095 steel.  Some of you may remember seeing it on here before, I was the lucky dude that got it in that trade and now I'm considering passing it along.

Yeah, that probably would be handy wouldn't it?  :D

I draw just a hair over 28", looking for something around 45 lbs at that length.

I have 5 red oak longbows I'm just finishing up which don't have grips yet. Some english (asymmetrical) style, some slightly wider flat bows, all bend slightly through the handle. Mostly in the 40lb range and 71" ntn, but could be piked to get 45. Let me know if you might be interested and I'll take some photos.

I appreciate the offer, but that's not really what I'm looking for.  Thanks anyway.
