« on: March 30, 2013, 12:36:36 pm »
Me and a buddy are traveling to Thailand next week (april 5th),we have no fixed shedule and are only booked for the first 2 days out of 15 so we can travel where we want.
Any tips on archery/Bowyer things to see or buy?

I don't know much about Thai archery, but I bet it's cool.  Tahi food is spicy, and dang good.  And lastly, some of them Thai girls....well, they ain't.  :-[
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

I'll try to get back with ya.  I got a buddy who used to vacation in Thailand every winter.  Married to a Thai girl now.  I'll ask him about it today and try to get back with you this afternoon. dpg

Yeah, buffalo horns is on the list but snakeskins can be risky to get through customs , ill have to check up the dos and donts about that.
Ill try to get some abalone or black lipped mother of Pearl for knives too.
Seabass,i have no problems trading things but as i live in sweden the postage can be ridiculusly high...if i even dare to get them out of the country.

dbb,

I talked to my buddy.  He said to send you his email and phone ## and you can get ahold of him.  He owns a Ukulele shop in Brown County Indiana, I'll PM you his info.  I'd follow this lead if I were you, he vacationed over there for something like 15 years.  Sending PM now.  Have fun, dpgratz

LOL!  Gus, I was trying to figure out the most appropriate way to make that very awkward yet extremely important  suggestion.  Over there, not all is as it seems! :o. Josh
