what fletching style do you use?

 I use 5",1/2" helical right wing mostly turkey and geese.
 I mainly use a jig for myself but hand fleatch for other people if they want.

I've a 4 1/4" left wing helical, mostly turkey and some geese.  Normally use a fletching jig but have done tied on only.  Although the fletchings are 4 1/4" long I trim 3/8" off the front and back to allow for artificial or real sinew wrappings, so the working fletching area is 3 1/2".

My fletching jig(JoJan Multifletch) is a straight fletcher. Depending on whether I'm using right or left wing I slightly offset the fletching either right or left. I also hand fletch with traditional 3 fletch, Eastern Woodland 2 fletch and tangential 3fletch.
 When I buy prechopped fletching I use 5 1/2" shield cut but when I go from scratch I burn fletching with my own design.

I have come to prefer two fletch arrows.  I get more arrows from each turkey wing and I can't tell the difference in the accuracy.

yup, pretty much do all my own arrows two fletch these days.
have found nothing about how they fly to do it any.

I like a two fletch, but have a 5 1/2" shield cut chopper for when I get full length feathers.  all most always helical or off set whether I'm using a jig or not.  I've even fletched some two feather with a jig set up to do 90* 4 fletch.  have fun, dpg

Straight fletch with a self made jig. Or by hand and give it a little helical.

I prefer to use a slightly helical two sided- Diagram below.
I do not like the velocity loss, but I do like accuracy. a fast shaft will not help anything if you cannot hit stuff, and with a 50 pound recurve, I really do not mind small velocity loss. Plus, I do not hunt.
