After seeing this I was so inspired I went out back and started working on a curvy hackberry stave.  Thanks for posting.
Florida to Kwajalein to Turkey and back in Florida again.  Good to be home but man was that an adventure!

Thanks Dictionary, finish is combo of colors of leather dye with satin spar, 6 coats and paste wax.

That's a lot of coats!

Is there a noticeable difference from using 6 coats rather than say...3?

Thanks Carson, glad ya like her.
Thanks bub, not much style in me so I try to give it to the bows.
Thanks Tim, be sure to post your curvy hackberry when your done.
Dictionary, if your out in the rain all day hunting I think 6 to 10 coats + wax is better than three. :)
Thanks Paul, hopefully soon we'll get some decent weather and free time to meet up and do some shooting man. :)
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Looks great Greg!  I don't blame you for going back to it and your makeover looks like a success.  I usually keep reworking them till they blow all to pieces.   :D
