Thanks guys, this is the 1st time starting longer limbs and then shorten after tiller. trying to get a feel for osage and how it reacts to different heat. its still around .600 to mid limb if I remember right.
It surprised me because i went from floor right to brace as you see it here. I guess I should have tried the long string sooner.
But being so long, I was thinking it would be plenty weight when I shorten.
Is there a guess at how much weight you gain by shorting, lets say 6". may go 8" to a 62". Heat treat and flip.
