I use the lap splice method with wood dowells, I made my own hide glue for this project with sinew and rawhide pieces. worked very well.

Very nice Eric.  Love them bows. I agree totally about the amount of time as I have two big horn sheep horns that I cut out and are now clamped to a board.  Talk about work!  Great work Eric.

Eric, I noticed the lightly recurved tips.  Is that needed for string angle or is it simply preference?
