Ive been trying to search for cross sections for these types of bows for a while now, now that I know I shall try this design! >:D Hopefully it works, I got maple but I think its soft maple...

Definately one of the nicest composites I have seen! A lot af talent and knowledge went into that bow. Also the pictures are very well taken, what a great job.

Outstanding craftsmanship. Amazing.
With a fine osage selfbow, my elkhide quiver filled with cedar arrows fletched with turkey, and with the invitation of the forest, I am about as happy as a man can be.

hi everybody!  -  this is my friend chris galuben and here is one of his bows; the guy is so primitive he doesn't use neither mobile nor internet, actually he doesn't even own a computer... he makes wonderfull bows, though, and a lot of what i know about bow-making and archery i picked up from him.

this is one of his double-curved bamboo-composits with a cross-section as in a japanese yumi.
the bow is 66" ntn, pulls 55#@28" and has a really high early draw-weight.
it's being shot with a fastflight flemish string.

That is so very cool!  I have never even heard of a composite like that!!
