cracked molly revisited
« on: February 25, 2013, 05:03:18 pm »
Posted a while back but didn't have photos of it and didn't explain the whole story!had about 300 through her and with beer googles firmly in place left the bow braced up over night outside.the temp was bout 25C and the fog rolled in that night thicker than peasoup!much to my horror it was partial covered in some green like fungus as I had not put any finish on it!being a bOob I onbraced it and let it sit inside for aday and continued shooting it when crack!the crack is bout 3/4" on the front and half an inch on the back.I flexed the lever and filled it with super glue and unbraced it and there it sit.do you all think a simple serving would be the best way to go?it's very fin quarter sawn red oak
