If I were forced to chose only one, the bow or the sculpture, I would have to commit seppuku in order to not shame myself by grabbing both and running away.  Del, these two items do a wonderful job of showing off just who you are, an amazing blend of artist and artisan.

My hat is off to you, sir.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Wow!  That is some very nice work Sir.  That strike plate inlay through the knot took my breath away.
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

+1

great artwork on the sculpture!
If the bow is balanced in your feel, I would leave it - even if it looks crazy

Del, I'm amazed how you get the motion of drawing and loosing an arrow in a static sculpture.  It's incredible!
Cheers, I suspect he runs round at night hunting for mice ;D
Del
Would that I were a bit better of an artist!  I'd just love to scribble out and post a drawing of that guy roasting a mouse on a spit turning it slowly over a fire!!!   ;D ;D ;D
