Kids Hickory Bow
« on: February 16, 2013, 04:57:26 pm »
Heres a few pics of a little hickory bow I made for my nephew last weekend. 43" ttt and 20 pounds at 20". My computer took a dump so most of the pics are from my phone and probably poor quality. Not sure how far Im pullin it in the full draw pic, I just pulled it till it started stacking pretty bad. He's only 6 and wont be pullin it that far and when he outgrows it in a few years Ill build him another one. Thanks for lookin

Great looking mini bow.

 Nice little bow.
Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Great work Okie!  Kid's bows are tough to tiller for me.  Getting those little short limbs to bend evenly can sure be a challenge.  You sure nailed it.

Thanks for the compliments everybody. I usually have a hard time with kids bows but this one went surprisingly smooth. I think I only had about 4 hours in it from start to finish, and thats fast for me.
