the carving with the Native Americans I traded work for.  We use dental drills, templates, leather, heat.  The other one Grim Reaper is ol Mr Fehr's handy work!
Hobbit= I enjoy your videos

I scored while asking permission to turkey hunt this week for the upcoming archery spring season, and got about 18# of Burlington off his farm in a 100 yd stretch. 
I will post a picture or two for a better ID from some of the chert experts
It chips really good raw....stand by....

I keep a tool in truck in case I happen upon some
here is the first piece and the first flake I got



I called farmer and he said load em up!
so I grabbed a few


I took the smallest tiny one and played around with it using my daughter's flat billet

That looks exactly like th rock that I pick up in the creeks. It's Burlington for sure. Nice find!!

I do slabs, spalls, chunks, rocks, raw, cooked
 
 
self taught= with a lil help here and there.

speaking of PA......

I guided for a outfitter for 7 yrs, and had MANY PA guys come thru camp......
