I buried dad today so mine is a little delayed as well but I should be finished by the end of next week, I just have a little finish work to do and it will be ready to ship.  I will get some pictures of it and the one I received up as soon as it is finished.

I went to workshop today to "finish" tillering my trade bow.  It just needs a little more bend at the fades really.  But, I decided to flip the tips a little instead.  I'll be tillering tomorrow.

So hedge, you did this build right? you make the limb 2" wide for the first half and then pyramid tapper until the tips right? Working pretty good right?

I feel your loss, I've experienced loss before, not on that scale, but still, not fun, and it's something that takes priority over all other things.

I GOT THE GREEN MAN!  Wow what a pretty bow, I haven't had time to shoot/snap a pic.... But I will soon.  Thanks so much Lostarrow!  It's a seriously prime board bow, the paint job is superb! My wife and I are super impressed with the detail work of the strike plate and arrow rest.  I just heard some honking from the air this afternoon so I may have to try my first go at goose bowhunting :)

My paper backing is finally dry, so I'm on the long string,  priority #1 :)

Glad you like it Matt. Hope you could make sense of the jibberish on the paper marked invoice. Happy hunting!

Hey Grady, I just saw where your dad passed away.  I was sorry to hear that.  We're praying for you here in Berea too.  Just wanted to tell everyone that I finally said goodbye and shipped off my trade bow.  If I had known how cheap it was to ship a bow through USPS I would have shipped it a lot sooner.  It should arrive around Monday.  Be looking for a cardboard package with blaze orange duct tape.  I must apologize in advance for the box it comes in.  It looks overly nasty but I couldn't get it to stick any other way.  Oh well.  At least what is inside is a lot prettier than the box.  Happy bowyering!

Oh by the way, see my next post for pics...I'm so excited I finally got this site to post pictures!

I think this is finally going to work and I'll be able to post pictures of my trade bow.  Let's see.

And for the money shot (I don't know what I'm doing with my thumb in the first one):

Nice tiller there Oscar.

I got mine trade bow braced and pulling 50@22.  I'm going to linen back the bow, just because I'm out of time to get this done.  So, I want the added insurance.  I wish I had remember to take a picture of it on the tree.  It looks pretty good.  I just need to finess another 6" out of it.  This is the fun stage.  I love it.
