Our hackberry here is NE has some wart texture to the bark - but nothing like that.  I agree with outlaw - funny how it can vary.

Yep that be Hackberry.

Turtle, the Hackberry you are seeing is likely to be Northern Hackberry which has "regular" looking bark most times.

Netleaf Hackberry (aka Western Hackberry) and Sugerberry (aka Southern Hackberry) have the warts growing on them.
