Tillering string?

This is for my early long string. Once I see that the bow will bend evenly on the long string to about 8" I brace it low(4") and use a short string. It is the o.d.green cord with white strands in the middle. I always heard it called parachute cord.     Pat

carpenter374 - Yup, 550 parachute cord. It only stretches a little, but bracing takes it all out.
