thanks guys.i don't have a tub(standup shower).i guess i'll just keep wetting it down and scrape it off.i've got nothing to loose.

I removed the sinew from the little yew paddle bow I broke last year by wrapping it in a wet towel and let it soften for an hour or so. I them started peeling the sinew up from the tips.

I have sinew that lifted from a short, snakey osage I've been working.  So, I need to remove it also, and try again.  I"m thinking of getting a large pvc pipe, capping one end and soaking it for a day or 2.  Then sealing the osage stave so it doesn't dry out too quickly and check.

No problem Clint, you weren't too far off. I had to remove the sinew from Elkie also but it just peeled off in sheets. Unfortunately I had added TBIII over the top so it limited how much sinew I could recover.

Here's view and probably won't work but maybe someone has done it.Can you remove a propeller in a limb that is sinewed with heat?

well,i took Pats advice and it worked.thanks Pat.it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be.some spots were a little tough,but i aien't complaining.here is a pic.thanks again Pat.
